Kings Pavilion Hotel Christchurch Dorset Photographer

The 2018 wedding photography season in very much full flow with my wedding photograhpher duties taking me once again to the Christchurch Kings Pavilion in Dorset which is my very local wedding venue just over 1 mile away from my home. A lovely wedding day for this bride and groom with allot of emotion and love. Lots of details to photograph and keep a record of and the bride and groom also hired the lovely Dorset Dub for a drive after the wedding breakfast to take a trip to the nearby New Forest for some more photos. A thorough record of the day here with nothing missed and photography with style.

Dorset Kings Pavilion Christchurch Wedding Photography

Dorset Kings Pavilion in Christchurch again for this wedding Photography commission, and an awesome day it was with clients who were friends of a previous couple whose wedding I had the pleasure of photographing a year or so before, I always love getting weddings from direct referrals as it just reinforces the good service I love to provide couples on their special day.

Bride prep for this day not at the hotel in Christchurch, which meant we had wedding cars to photograph and that New York Yellow cab which looked great and we had some fun with it in the photos. I was asked to cover Groom’s preparation mainly for this wedding with just a little bride prep which I could easily do on my own with no second photographer as Groom prep and Bride prep were so close together.

There were allot of details throughout the day to photograph and allot of them I photographed in context with wedding day aspects. The Bride & Groom photos around the ruins have come out particularly well due to mainly my off camera lighting which really has given these normal colour images a slight edge over what you may see in other photographs that are not mine. The Bride & Groom shots are also a great combination of natural poise of the couple and laughter and playing up to camera, we had fun, and thats the main key.

The venue decorations were some of the best I have seen and the perfect sunny day set them all off as well. Mike Judd the Toastmaster helped the day as usual go smoothly and we as always worked great as a team. The Kings Pavilion is the closest main wedding venue to where I live and it is awesome to be included on their website as one of the 6 or so on their”real wedding” feature.

Kingston Country Courtyard Wedding Dorset

Wedding photography at Kingston Country Courtyard is always a great day, a great location in the Purbecks in Dorset, just a lovely place for a wedding and one of the longest running barn wedding venues in the Dorset area with lots of places to stay for all the guests. Draw dropping views of the surrounding countryside and that amazing view of Corfe Castle! These aspects are a must to capture in the background of any bride and groom wedding photo and I am pleased to include some examples for this wedding. It makes total sense for the bride to get ready in one of the onsite rooms and also I get plenty of room to move around and get lots of different lighting and views to work. Not all bride and grooms opt for the ceremony at the barn, allot like these guys opted to use the nearby dramatic looking Kingston church, this can give an option for group shots in the church grounds.

Lots of details for this wedding, and the bride and groom also had allot of their own ideas for photography that we included in the brief and final results are here to view.
